2.4 to ML Hayden, he's got him! Fantastic comeback! Ntini hits the WACA pitch short of a length and gets the ball to rise and seam away from the left hander, Hayden pokes at it from his crease and gets an edge to Smith at first slip, easy catch for the South African captain, the change of line works immediately for Ntini, South Africa are stoked. 14/1
2.5 to RT Ponting, Ponting goes first ball! Would you believe it! Ntini bowls a fuller ball on a length, he pitches it just outside off stump, Ponting goes hard at the ball off the front foot, he is looking to push on the off side but gets a thick edge to AB de Villiers who takes a low catch at gully. 14/2
80.4 to BJ Haddin, caught in the deep! The new ball does it for South Africa! Ntini bowls a short and wide ball, Haddin goes after it and slashes, he slices it in the air towards deep backward point where Duminy holds the catch, yet another batsman gets caught in the deep after getting well set. 298/7

81.5 to B Lee, Lee is steyned. Kicks up from a length, 143 kmph delivery and the pace and the bounce off a length did the job. Lee stabbed it off the outside edge to gully. Gone. Eight down. 300 up. Runs and wickets. Lovely Test match day.. 303/8

50.5 to SM Katich, Katich has missed a full toss and he's lbw! Morkel delivers a low full toss from round the wicket and angles it into the left-hander, Katich moves across his stumps to flick but misses, the ball thuds into the pad in front of middle, would it have missed leg? Close call, it might have clipped leg stump. 164/4
88.6 to MG Johnson, Morkel strikes with the last ball of the day! Finally he bowls a yorker which smashes into Johnson's pad right in front of the stumps, that's plumb, South Africa end on a high after a frustrating few overs. 341/9

69.5 to A Symonds, he's holed out this time! Harris tossed the ball up outside leg stump, Symonds tried to loft against the turn but this time he wasn't to the pitch of the ball because he hardly moved his feet, he hit the ball high in the air towards wide long-on, McKenzie ran to his right and took a well-judged catch. 259/6

7.6 to ND McKenzie, what has McKenzie done? An unbelievable shot! Johnson bowls the ball short and wide outside off stump, McKenzie has been leaving those deliveries but this time he decides to play at it, he should have been cutting that but instead he tries to pull the ball from well outside off stump, he ends up hitting it tamely towards mid-off where Krejza runs to his right to take the simplest of catches. 16/1
32.3 to GC Smith, massive wicket! The double blow! Johnson bowls a full ball outside off stump, Smith tries to drive away from his body without moving his feet and gets a thick inside edge back on to his stumps, Johnson sprints away in celebration, Australia are right back in this. 110/3
70.4 to AB de Villiers, got him! Johnson's been Australia's go to man today! He pitches on a good length in line with the stumps and slants it close to de Villiers' off stump, de Villiers pushes forward in defence but the ball moves across him and takes the outside edge, Haddin tumbles to his right and takes the catch. 234/4
72.4 to JH Kallis, Johnson has another one and has brought Australia right back into the match once again! Kallis gets on to the front foot and fends at a length delivery which angles across him, the ball clips the outside edge and Haddin pouches another one to his right. 237/5
74.1 to JP Duminy, He can! He sends down an awesome short ball to Duminy, it's supremely directed and has Duminy in its sights, Duminy tries to duck, he can't, he ends up fending at it awkwardly, the ball thuds into his glove and lobs up towards leg gully, Haddin runs across and takes an easy catch, Johnson has five! That might have hit him on the arm actually, it's a close call. 238/6
76.3 to M Morkel, Johnson has six! Another one falls! He follows up that superb bouncer with a slower ball, the length is full and the line is straight, Morkel closes the face of the bat too early and the ball hits the leading edge, it lobs up towards the off side and Krejza runs in from extra cover and slides to take the catch. 241/7
76.6 to PL Harris, gone! Amazing, simply stunning from Johnson! He fires in a length ball at Harris' pads, he turns the ball off the pads but it's in the air and there's a man at a shortish backward square leg, it goes straight to him and Krejza takes the catch. 241/8
80.4 to DW Steyn, Johnson's one step closer towards creating Australian history! He fires it the short ball right at Steyn's body, Steyn manages to get his head out of the way but leaves his glove sticking out, the ball hits it and lobs up towards Haddin who won't get too many catches that are easier than that. 256/9
25210214.08959210
31.1 to HM Amla, bowled him! Lovely ball! Krejza loops the ball up outside off stump, drawing Amla forward with the flight, he beats the batsman in the air, pitches the ball outside off stump and spins it through the bat pad gap as Amla tries to whip it on the leg side, that turned a long way to hit the stumps. 106/2
16.554412.61847003
89.5 to MV Boucher, caught! Boucher tried to cut the ball through point but couldn't keep it down, the ball goes straight to Katich who takes the catch and the sprints off the field to get padded up, Australia lead by 94 runs. 281/10

8.3 to ML Hayden, caught and bowled! Steyn gets his man, he bowls a quick and straight delivery on middle and leg stump, Hayden tries to flick but misses, the ball thuds into his pad, only his pad, and pops back to the bowler, Steyn catches it and appeals, Aleem Dar raises the finger, loud resounding boos after the replays are shown on screen, that looked like it was just off the pad. 25/1
50.6 to MJ Clarke, caught at slip! The ball was there to be hit, it was short and wide outside off stump, Clarke freed his arms and tried to cut it over point, he got a thick outside edge straight to Kallis at first slip, it flew to him quickly at chest height and he took it well. 148/5
2127613.61899001
27.5 to MEK Hussey, bowled him! Hussey's mis-timed a couple of pulls from Ntini and he tries to play the shot again, the length isn't short enough and he bottom edges it from outside off on to his stumps, he's knocked one out of the ground. 88/4
2738533.141234520
26.4 to RT Ponting, caught! Harris followed up the spinning delivery with the arm ball, Ponting moved towards the leg side to play the ball on the off, he thought the ball would turn, when it didn't he ended up prodding at it, the ball bounced a bit more as well and took the edge, Boucher threw it up in glee. 88/3
58.1 to A Symonds, gone!! flighted on leg stump, inviting the batsman to drive, Symonds steps out and looks to loft that over mid-on, fails to connect well and finds Graeme Smith who takes the simplest of catches running to his left. Australia are six down now and South Africa are well and truly back in this.. 157/6
96.6 to BJ Haddin, stumped! Haddin charges once again to hit the ball down the ground, he finally misses a delivery and Boucher completes an easy stumping, Haddin falls six short of a century, he's played a magnificent innings, extending the lead from 256, when Lee fell, to 413. 319/10
1442431.71723000

59.5 to B Lee, what a catch!!! an absolute stunner. short of a good length outside off, Lee gets on the back foot to guide that past point, gets the outside edge and de Villiers dives full length to his left at second slip to pluck it out of thin air with both hands. Australia seven down now.. 162/7

14.3 to ND McKenzie, Johnson has his ninth of the match! He pitches the ball on a good length in line with the stumps and cuts the ball across the right-hander, the movement is just enough to find the edge of McKenzie's forward push, Haddin dives to his right and takes a low catch, he's having a super match as well, the ball was similar to the ones that got Kallis and de Villiers in the first innings. 19/1
50.2 to GC Smith, gone! Johnson takes his tenth wicket of the match. Slower ball bowled full on middle and leg, Smith tries to work it away on the on-side and is struck on the pads in line with the stumps. The umpire had no hesitation whatsoever.
