Yorkshire v Sri Lanka A at Leeds, Jul 31, 2007 scorecard |
Greg Wood is a promising wicketkeeper and a product of league cricket and the Yorkshire Academy. He was part of the Yorkshire Under-17 side that beat Surrey in the final of the 2005 ECB U-17 County Championship and has progressed into the England U-19 set up. He was part of the squad that reached the 2006 World Cup semi-final in Sri Lanka and is set for his second tournament at the 2008 event in Malaysia. He hasn't been able to force his way into the Yorkshire side yet, but is a consistent performer in the 2nd XI.
